There are multiple ways to incorporate ceramic elements into your next design project; vases, table wares and sculptural artworks just to name a few. However, the most popular mode of clay working is, without a doubt, the humble tile.
Tiles are noted for providing a uniform veneer to otherwise unsightly building constituents, as well as making for watertight, sanitary environments in areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. But tiling over an existing wall or floor surface is not a purely functional means to an end.
