Maximalism burst onto the interior scene after years of minimally curated spaces populating both social and mainstream media outlets. It’s often described as the ‘aesthetic of excess’, but at what cost? Can this method of decorating also be function-focused? Will this stylistic approach stand the test of time in an ever-changing hospitality design landscape?
These are questions that hotel specifiers must have asked themselves time and time again. In our humble opinion, however, unbridled creative freedom and memorable guest experience are exactly what makes the industry so exciting.
