PASTED PATTERNS
FIVE ON FRIDAY
Over the years, wallpaper has gained a reputation as being stereotypically kitsch, difficult to remove and, above all, a design relic of the seventies. However, with walls being the largest blank canvas in a room, they pose unmissable opportunity to showcase some of the best surface pattern designs in the business and, subsequently, leave a lasting impression on hotel guests.
This week’s line-up features wallpaper styles from plaid and paisley to those of the kaleidoscopic persuasion. Here are some pasted papers that have captured our imagination…

01 | Prizeotel Hannover City, Germany.

02 | The Whitby Hotel, USA.
by Stonehill Taylor and Kit Kemp.

03 | Van der Valk Hotel Zwolle, Netherlands.
