Did you know that most mammals lack the ability to distinguish red? This is one of the evolutionary features that allowed humans to be able to distinguish ripe fruit amongst the foliage.
From the beginning, red seems to pop more than other colours, it demands our attention, and we deliver. It only makes sense for stop signs to be red for the same resaon ( they are hard to ignore). It has been associated across many cultures as the colour of royalty and wealth, and in many asian cultures its the traditional colour choice for brides. Red is, indubitably, a passionate colour. Its the colour of war, blood, danger but also love and lust. It’s been present in art from the prehistoric paintings in Lascaux to Jeff Koons’ metal balloon pieces.
Today we’re selected five projects for our most daring world explorers; for those who seek powerful passionate experiences with a hint of danger and adventure.
